Pop but not too poppy, he sounds like a toys orchestra.
This is from their first album. Late is 2010 they published their third one, but I've never given it a listen. I am so far away from Italy now. Not only physically, but also musically speaking. The only thing I've been listening to during the last period, or even years, is m+a. I think they are pretty good, and pretty un-italian as well.
It is a paradox that italy is known as the country of the music and singers...if one looks at the music we export now... omg, it is just the worst thing ever. And even the small independent scene we have...it is still so provinciale. Once i thought it was mainly due to the language, but no, the sound doesn't work, it is soooo old.
