Paris post

Closed another European chapter, I am on my way to Italy.
Future is pretty unclear: besides my thesis I have no real need to be anywhere for the next 6 months. Nantes and the stress I accumulated down there is slowly drifting away from my mind.
Today, Paris is grey, but my mood is far from the colour of today's sky.
Having a walk down the road til la Bastille, passing through the liberty passages thinking about Aragon et Benjamin, listening to Four Tet and the new Radiohead in a nice flat in the XIème makes me feel in the right place.

Nantes...adieu!

This is from their first album. Late is 2010 they published their third one, but I've never given it a listen. I am so far away from Italy now. Not only physically, but also musically speaking. The only thing I've been listening to during the last period, or even years, is m+a. I think they are pretty good, and pretty un-italian as well.
It is a paradox that italy is known as the country of the music and singers...if one looks at the music we export now... omg, it is just the worst thing ever. And even the small independent scene we have...it is still so provinciale. Once i thought it was mainly due to the language, but no, the sound doesn't work, it is soooo old.

My stay in Nantes is almost at its end.
As I usually do, I am already thinking about the next project.
At the same time these days I can't find a song to post...
